Growing up amidst the salty, deep Pacific Ocean and giant cedar trees of the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada, I have been shaped by an ongoing deep connection to wild places. Inner and outer landscapes merge to create our calling, the soul purpose of our work. My thirty year career in progressive and transformative education has included teaching K to College in public and private schools, leading a University Outdoor Program, managing a Natural History Center, Course Directing for Outward Bound, Executive and Leadership coaching with Toyota and Johnson & Johnson, founding an alternative high school, starting social enterprises, and most recently, working as Head of Primary at Green School Bali., a high profile role engaging teachers and parents from all over the world.
A private coaching and consulting practice has run alongside many of these other endeavors and is founded on two levels of certification, through the International Coach Federation and PhilosophyCenter, as well as membership with the National Philosophical Counseling Association. This work is respectful, deep, and relentlessly guided by truth. I look forward to serving you on your path to self realization and real joy.
